Introduction

You have forgotten or lost your password to Conduktor Desktop, dont worry it happens to the best of us. So what do you do now? Well follow below the steps to reset your password.

Steps to reset your password for Conduktor Desktop

Step 1: Go to account.conduktor.io

This is the license management system for Conduktor Desktop where you can add/revoke users depending on your own role. You should see a page similar to the below screenshot, click "Login" and go to the next screen.

Step 2: Initial sign-in page

After clicking login, you should see the page below as shown in figure 2. Put in your email address and click "Continue".

Step 3: Password screen

After putting in your email address and clicking "Continue, you should see a screen as shown in figure 3. Now you can click

Step 4: Enter your email address to receive a  password reset email

You should see a page similar to the below screenshot, enter your email and click "Continue" to recieve an email from us allowing you to reset your password.

Step 5: Send reset email to yourself and choose a new password

You should see a page similar to the below screenshot, click login and go to the next screen.

You may need to check spam or all email messages to find it.

You can now go back to account.conduktor.io and sign in using your new password

If you have followed these steps and are unable to get the password reset email, this may be due to either your company not allowing the email to be received, due to specific filtering. Alternatively, you may have originally signed on using a different method than password, such as using Github, Google or Microsoft to sign in to Conduktor Desktop and verify you email address.
